Packaging
We offer punch cards, vials and multi dose packs. Each has a purpose for different care settings. Multi dose packs are custom-packed patient and time-specific pouches containing all the oral solids prescribed for each med pass. Using innovative dispensing methods like these can reduce med pass times, increase accuracy, and even have an impact on overtime, facility staff job satisfaction and staff turnover.
On Call Services
We provide 24/7/365 on call access to pharmacists, and have a network of 24-hour backup pharmacies for each of our delivery locations. We have robust emergency drug kits that span your needs.
Billing
Young at Heart Pharmacy utilizes a suite of billing services designed to address the clinical, processing, and budgeting needs of your facility. We offer training and consulting to review your invoices to minimize your staff’s need to spend valuable time checking invoices for accuracy. We have several services to align our deliveries with your exact requirements. We even have a prior authorization team that will manage a great deal of PA processing on your behalf.
Consulting and Medical Records
We have deeply experienced pharmacy consultants to work with your medical staff to optimize results. Our medical records are world class, with color photos of medications, and hundreds of customization combinations to meet your charting needs.
Training
We train your staff on pharmacy operations with ISO 9000 compliant manuals and systems.
Communication
Facilities can communicate with us using a wide variety of methods, including calling our call center and using HIPAA compliant online messaging. In addition, our customers use Young at Heartbeat, a web-based communication tool, allowing facilities to use a suite of online services from drug price checking to resident demographic changes to submitting refill orders.
