In alphabetical order:

Barry Hart, R.Ph., Co-Founder

Barry Hart is co-founder of Young at Heart Pharmacy. Barry focuses on the company's clinical pharmacy operations, billing and adjudications functions, and IT. A proponent of the use of technology to optimize customer service, Barry co-led the establishment of one of the nation’s first paperless pharmacy operations systems.

Prior to Young at Heart, Barry worked for PharMerica (an AmerisourceBergen company at the time) where he served as Senior General Manager of Operations of one the largest long term care pharmacies in Indiana, processing over one million prescriptions a year. In this role he had responsibility for $45 million in annual sales and over 200 employees. In this role Mr. Hart reconstructed a 26,000 sq. ft. operations floor, redesigned workflows and implemented bar coding dispensing systems.

A graduate of Purdue University with a BS in Pharmacy and a minor concentration in business development, Barry Hart is also certified in geriatric practice. He began his career in the hospital clinical setting and soon moved into the long term care pharmacy service arena in the Lafayette, Indiana area.

Serving on the board of Tangram Healthcare and as the former Chairman of the Indiana Long Term Care Alliance, Barry currently resides with his family in Carmel, Indiana.
